anthrax(their 'sound of white noise' album is killer!), apocalyptica, in flames, nirvana(i think i almost have every song they've done including bootlegs), rammstein, sepultura, and slayer. everything by those bands i've hear so far is great(and i have almost all their songs).Eschewing obfuscation and transcending conformity since 1982. I was listening to Rammstein, and was wondering if there are any other german metal bands as good as them. And please don't recommend Atari Teenage Riot. They are horrible

I haven´t heard Jürgen Englers new band 'DKay', but there´s some previews from the new album at http://www.dkay.com/index_earcandy.html
Oomph is another band that plays in the same genre, I find them a little weak and "poppy" but you can give the a try if you like.
However the band that sounds most like Rammstein (and sometimes even better!) is Megaherz They are a must buy if you like Rammstein.
And I also think ATR sucks... "The kids are united" are a pretty good tune though. And "Hetzjagd auf Nazis" is a cool song title
