Apolyton is just a bunch of people talking endlessly. There isn't much of a plot there. And what would this be? comedy? drama? science fiction?

How bout Sid Meier as the bad guy? A war between Firaxis and Apolyton...

I beg to differ. With some careful editing there´s stuff for a movie on Poly. "Based on a true story"- kind of thingy...

-A bunch of people set out to find the mystical "Area 25" They find it, spam it to bits and later gets ratted out by a fellow poster. Action, drama, gratuitous nudity and betrayal! Classic stuff

-All that messy relationship stuff between certain posters (who need not be named) would make a excellent "Fatal Attraction"-style drama/thriller.

-That story thread that Siro, Ming and others made a while back (I tried to find it but I didn´t ) That was truly hilarious stuff

-Laz/Bugs/Ron´s often hilarious stories of home improvement, going to IKEA, etc.

The list just goes on and on...

Provost is the anti-hero and you watch as goes from average-joe down on his luck, to a spy, as he uncovers a Finnish plan to take over the world, and MI6 hires him good. Then there is the 'training' montage. Then he goes to kick some Finnish ass, but ends up having to kick some Yankee right-winger ass, because they believe he is in league with a commie smuggler (of men!) codenamed Jon the Red. Things get straightened out with the Yanks, and they go off together to take the Finnish command center, on a boat in the Arctic Sea, but as they almost corner the leader (Stefu), he escapes into a mini-sub and heads across the Arctic Circle to northern Canada. Stefu and his various henchmen get onto their private jet (who knows how they got it, but they did) and plan to fly to Mexico and safety, but get shot down over Alberta but a crazy oil tycoon hermit(The Artist formerly known as Glonk). Stefu is held prisoner, but escapes and confronts The Artist formerly known as Glonk. They fight. Stefu kills The Artist formerly known as Glonk and takes control of AsherCo. Then the calvary come in, with Provost sneeking in, ala James Bond, and having some elaborate battle sequence involving a real life version of Civ2. Provost wins. Yay!

                              Side notes:

-the 'Q' character is played by MtG
                              -'M' is Ming, of course.
-Provost seduces the women of Apolyton, but BW is evil and has Finnish sympathies.
-Boris is Jon the Red's kitty.
-Markos is Stefu's mysterious boss, but we never see is face.... oooh... sequel? Are the Greeks really behind all of this?!! Aaaah!!
