He could also have
1. thrown an incomplete pass to an eligible receiver (kicker, off-the-line blockers)
2. rolled out of pocket (as he did) and throw it out of bounds
3. fall into an opponent (rushing attempt) and call the last timeout.
What I don't understand is how the back judge blew the Extremely Obvious interference call.
BTW -- Kudos to the Giants for not whining too much even after the excuse was there. I guess they know darn well that they choked in many ways -- as a team.
(Yeah, Chris, we know most of them involved Fassel, but he wasn't on the field.)
