Ozz: The thing is, I buy whole loaves from the factory (or at least from large-size, supermarket-delivering bakers) and they're fine- when they're whole, crusty and unsliced. It's when they're sliced that they quickly lose all flavour.

I think Buck has a damn good point about sliced bread, it is actually quite awful and would take a nice loaf over that synthetic crap any day.

Anyway Paiktis, Golf Sale...well I have been out for a couple of hours so I haven't been able to reply (sometimes I think I am not allowed to leave the internet ), if you ever walk down Oxford Street in London you will see lots of these placards pointing you down random back alleys and all over Soho so it would seem, although I have never followed one. Has anyone actually been to that golf sale? Anyway, it is a bit of a cultural icon now, that sign...

I have, by sheer coincidence (I was walking past it). It's a small unassuming shop selling rather luxury-related golf accesories.

Soho has some very interesting shops.

I agree. It's just alot easier to say, "w ankers."

I can't stand that ACK thing.
As for irregardless, that is not a real word :doitnow:

I just noticed that Buck is aka Snapcase. Amusingly, I had wildly different impressions of you two. Snapcase was a much cooler guy.

Irregardless is, unfortunately, a real word, that means the same as regardless.

As far as that ACK thing:

ACK! ACK! ACK! ACK! ACK! ACK!

Just thought of a few that really get me:

"Escaping certain death" -- If death is certain, you can't escape it.

"Changing the course of history" -- History is what has already happened. You can only change that if you have a time machine, and I don't know anyone that does.

                                Another irregularity in English:

The plural form of parenthesis is parentheses, not paranthesises.
