Do you think there will be a terrorist attack in the U.S. in the next week?

Loif:
They entered from Canada using fake British passports, according to the latest information from the FBI.
Don't worry. The United States won't invade Canada over something like that ... I think.

What bothers me about Canada is that the RCMP knew about these terrorists but did nothing to stop them. (Assuming the news about the RCMP is correct.)http://tools.wikimedia.de/~gmaxwell/jorbis/JOrbisPlayer.php?path=John+Williams+The+Imperial+M arch+from+The+Empire+Strikes+Back.ogg&wiki=en

I wouldn't put too much stock in what the media tells us. On the other hand, I haven't watched the news or read a newspaper for the last couple of days so the world could have ended and I wouldn't be aware of it.
Someone said that the FBI says that the RCMP knew about the terrorists but did nothing about them? Sorry, too lazy to go back and look for the post. Why would they do that?
It seems to me that if the US is so concerned about protecting the biggest border in the world that they should put some more people on it. So easy to pass the buck. We're a small nation population wise; it's not possible for us to staff enough people to control the entire border. Both sides have to be willing to do this.
On the third hand though, I too hope that nothing happens. It would be terrible if it did.
after edit: Well it seems that the RCMP have a list of suspected terrorists that they gave to the FBI. As I stated earlier, I guess both of our countries have to work together in order to protect our borders.Last edited by Guest; December 31, 2002, 20:20.
