No... I would have rather have had a real free agent QB instead of some washed up losser who only wanted a pay check.

You said that Chandler would be an improvement over Miller, and that he was a good quarterback...

Well... Miller was better, and Chandler never was number one.

I predicted he would suck... and he did

    You were wrong

Chandler was/is an improvement over Miller.

And real FA QB... you mean like Kitna?

Brad Johnson has a FRACTURED BACK VERTEBRE! So even if he can go in the playoffs, he will be severly limited!

        ---

        And Ming:

        Completion Percentage

        Miller: 57.3
        Chandler: 64.0

        QB Rating

        Miller: 77.5
        Chandler: 79.8

        I'd take Chandler.

What games were you watching... Even with a bum elbow, Miller was a better QB... as I said when they picked up Chandler.

I looked at the stats. Chandler was a better player.

And Burris was a former CFL star. He could be the next Garcia .

Further looking at the stats. THe game against Miami in Week 14 was the ONLY game where he had under 60% completion rating. In the last two weeks... over 80% completions.

And he had the best game that a Bear's QB has had all year over the Jets three weeks ago .

Miller, on the other hand, has had FIVE games with completion percentage UNDER 60% (out of 10).

I'll take the one that can complete more passes.

There was a reason why Chandler was second string... and didn't even play when Miller could still limp his way on to the field. But stick with another of your fantasies... Chandler sucks... pure and simple. Ask anybody that actually had to watch all the games.

I've seen Chandler play last year. He almost brought a crappy Falcons team (without Dunn or Duckett) to the playoffs last year.

I have seen him play. No one throws a better deep ball.

After the first few series... Johnson does suck... but does he suck more than buris... that's the real question.

The problem with Chandler is his tendency toward concussion. With all our reserve OL playing, he's a sitting duck.

When the season could still be saved, he came in and lost to DETROIT and MINNESOTA.

when he's nicked up, he sits. When Miller had wrist and elbow problems, he played. Miller has the loyalty of the rest of the team. He's not great, but he's their LEADER. and that's what your QB is supposed to provide.

I'm not a big Jim Miller fan, but he's steady and heady under pressure. Chandler never won the confidence of the team, and they played poorly every time he started -- except the Jets game, when NY mailed it in.

It's all moot anyway. Miller will be back next year, Chandler won't, and MAYBE the Bears will both draft and sign QBs for 2nd and 3rd string.

                      We can only pray...

For once I agree with Theismann -- that was a pathetic interference call on McQuarters.

Let me be the first to suggest this game could have total scoring of under 20 points. Maybe under 10.

End of first qtr -- No score.
                          WOO-HOO!

This should be fun. Defense and special teams will determine the winner.

Hopefully the Bears won't lie down -- like the Pack's D did.

Since you don't have A-Train... why don't you put Urlacher on Offense as RB... he'd get some stuff done .

That would require imagination. Look for Urlacher on a special teams fake.

The Bears rush 10 at the punter (don't come close) and Merritt fields it on the 3.

I sense a safety coming up...
