Yes it did, you just fail to read carefully. The bowls aren't part of the regular season, and you want the regular season to matter. So who cares who wins the bowls. After all, the sanctity of the regular season should be upheld! We don't need these pseudo-playoffs deciding our champion!

Well... considering that the tread is Titled: The best team in college football... I don't know how you can't bring up the Crappy BCS system. Because of it, we can only argue who is best, because since there isn't a playoff system, we will never really know.

There really isn't much to talk about. Take your pick, Miami or OSU... forget about any other team... because the crappy BCS system is only offering us a choice between those two teams.

True, but my team is playing for #2* against a FSU team that resembles nothing like the FSU of old. I don't know whether to be worried or cocky. I hope Richt just lights it up to the old man, but...

*Rooting to come in second is kind of cheesy, but #2 is a hell of a lot better than we could've reasonably expected back in August.

With a real playoff system, you could have been rooting for your team to be number one, but the crappy BCS system gives you a game against a team that shouldn't even be there.
