  • The best team in college football

The Purple Raiders of Mount Union College (Alliance, Ohio) are playing for the national championship tomorrow at noon on ESPN2. The Division III national championship, that is.

Their current win streak is 41 games and they've win 5 of the last 6 championships (they missed 1999.) They have won 95 of their last 96 games.

USC, and a shame they don't even get a chance to prove it .

I'm betting on Iowa - just to prove all you USC boosters wrong.

Parenthetically, I saw Miami is something like an 11 point fave in the Fiesta... could be another blowout

Rather than search the threads, I'll just ask : who won the simulated 16-game NCAA football 'playoff'?

No they won't. It's gonna be a blowout.

They had all season to prove it. Their two losses seem to indicate that they are not the best team in the country.

So if they can beat Miami right now (which they possibly can... at least has a better shot than OSU), you wouldn't care?

Btw, if OSU knocks off Miami, would you say you won't care, because bowls aren't part of the regular season?
