But if we don't experience acid reflux, then where is the problem of increased risk of cancer?

The only time I get acid reflux is when I'm on some types of pills that don't agree with me, so I get a different prescription.

Yesterday's dinner was Thai Green Curry (chicken) with rice and mini naan bread. I then went round to a friend's house and had two pieces of fried chicken and cheap wine.
Exult in your existence, because that very process has blundered unwittingly on its own negation. Only a small, local negation, to be sure: only one species, and only a minority of that species; but there lies hope. [...] Stand tall, Bipedal Ape. The shark may outswim you, the cheetah outrun you, the swift outfly you, the capuchin outclimb you, the elephant outpower you, the redwood outlast you. But you have the biggest gifts of all: the gift of understanding the ruthlessly cruel process that gave us all existence [and the] gift of revulsion against its implications.

Last night when Boris started the thread: chicken tenders, tater tots, and some baked beans.

Tonight: cranberry chicken, instant rice, and a bag of California blend mixed veggies. Mmmmm...
