There are. Well, at least former right wing parties (like The List).

But I am a right-winger with right wing policies dominating about 97% of my beliefs.

        PFFFFWAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA !! ECONOMIC REVIVAL!!!!! WOAHAHAHAHAAA!!!!

What a JOKE!! The "revival" affected ALL the countries from 1995 till 2000!! The "New Economy" and the asian problems focused the productivity in the two western blocks (UE & USA), I can assure that PP has NOTHING related with this "success". We just were the cheap one in the expensive area, so all the external inversion went here. Also, don't forgot the "minor" UE money, zounds of billions coming here. Oh please!!

A TRUE success is what happened in Greece, this country TRULY evolved, in Spain only happened that the richest ones are in the government, so tehy don't make nasty things to crash a non-friend government.

Also, great success? What about the "tiny increase" in land value? The use of social money excedent to avoid the deficit?

In this good economically period they had a perfect moment to reestructure the social money to benefit people of more 55 years and widowed people, what they have done for them? Nothing...

PP is a crap, and is not just my opinion.

You don't know what you are saying. I suggest you look at the statistics, unemployment was 15% on 1996. This year unemployment fell below 9%.

That is just your opinion and only your opinion. The PP is doing a lot for Spain. Like taking GDP per capita up to the level of other European countries with tough fiscal policy and financial restructing reforms.

          Try to refute that.

Mind to explain, dear Xarxo? I'm not a PP suporter, but I don't see why the PP is worse than another party.

Don't be an ageist Fez. You yourself are younger than most here. Do you think anyone older than you should automatically be able to dismiss your posts?

Of course not. We automatically dismiss them just because it's you.

Fact: The PP reduced the size of the bureaucracy

Fact: Unemployment was 15% in 1996. After tough fiscal reforms and removal of labor rigidities, the unemployment rate fell to 8.99% in 2002.

Fact: Industrial Production Growth of the past five years has indicated growth greater than that of the past twenty years prior to 1996.

Fact: GDP Per Capita now stands near $20,000, whereas was closer to $12,000 five years ago.

May I shall continue why the PP is the better party in Spain?

Boris, that idea only applies to people much younger than I.

Dear Fez, I know your opinion: you think that PP is the better party in Spain .

As I point before, I don't think that PP is cr*p. I think that PP is a party, like any other. But I want to know why Xarxo thinks that PP is cr*p.

Just visit: http://www.aznar.net (I believe that there's an english version)

And, a party MUST be a good one, if we start to admit deficient things in our govern this will decay in total anarchy.

We have to remember that "NORMAL" could be a synonim of "BAD" too...

                          That website is hardly credible.

Post something from a site like "Grupo Negocios" on my signature... not right-leaning.. more centerist.

The PP has managed to fight off all sorts of socialism, leftism and other political diseases in our country from the PSOE, and other terrible political parties.

Dear Xarxo, I had visited the web you put the link to. Yes, they point out some PP mistakes and failures, but, in my humble opinion, you can say

                            PP is cr*p

if you that any other party in Spain is cr*ap. I don't believe that PP is worse that PSOE, CiU or any other party on government.

So, yes the PP is a NORMAL party, and, if you want, NORMAL=BAD, but all parties in Spain are NORMAL

[Well, excep the Falange, Batasuna and others that support violence]

Batasuna? Goodbye... Banned for supporting violence.

The PP is one of the best political parties in Spain... why? They have managed to bring prosperity to Spain, fight of disgusting forms of violence supported by the now banned Batasuna party and more.
