Ditto, the scottish girl was the hottest girl in the competition.

Who's going to add all this up? SG? A volunteer? Or some newbie who's dumb enough to volunteer . . .

I think by starting this, SD has volunteered himself.
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

I think I understand the voting system. I just ran a quick spreadsheet tally and found that China, Germany and Norway have zero number one votes. I assume they drop out. No votes get transferred.

Next, Albania, Ukraine, Uraguay and Wales have only one No. 1 vote, they drop out and the people who voted them number 1 have their votes xfered to their No. 2.

Using this system, Peru drops out next at 3 No. 1's.

However, two of Peru's No. 1 were actually No. 2's. So when Peru drops out, suddenly Germany, Norway and Uraquay get their first No. 1's. But these now drop out again.

Strangely, this causes Uraquay to get two more No. 1's.

But she now drops out for the third time.

But this again leads to Ukraine with 2 and Uraquay with 1.

Uraguay drops out for the third time. Am I following this?

I stopped here because it just became too complex.

Anyhow, at the end of this process, Poland led with 8 and Australia and Italy were tied for second.

I wish you good luck SD on figuring this out.

It might be simpler to simply transfer a vote to an existing contestant rather than one who has already dropped out. Is this in fact the rule?

Just ran a recalc with the method that a vote cannot go to a lady who has already dropped out. Poland wins because after four rounds she has 12 while Australia and Netherlands have 10 each.

The rule change really made a difference.

Why would anyone want that hag to win? One good picture out of three doesn't cut it for me...

Australia uses the voting system SD mentioned, and yes, once you are out of the running, you are completely out. If your 1st vote is out, and your 2nd choice is already dropped, your 3rd choice gets your vote.

/me thinks Apolyton has no taste either, not voting Wales.
