Oh yeah, and bonus question: does anyone know where I got this?
My fault for not reading carefully. Still, that's a small change.

2xn: Start at bottom left. First moves are right to the last column, up one, left two, down one, right one, up one. Pattern of three left, one down, one right, one up until you reach the top of the third-from-left column. Then two left (and one down to return to staring square).

mxn: Start at bottom left. Follow the 2xn pattern using exclusively row 1 (the bottom row) and row m/2 + 1. This finishes with a leftt move into row m/2 +1, column 1. Move down to row 2, repeat in rows 2 and m/2 + 2. Continue repeating through rows m/2 and m, then down from row m to row 1 in column 1.

However, Zero-Tau has already answered my puzzle. so it's on him again.

I have no idea regarding your source.

Don't have anything handy right now, so I'll let anyone post a brain teaser.

I have no idea regarding your source.
I expected that, but I'll let the question stay. Just in case someone knows.

        I am.

        What am I?

(This one is either really stupid, really cryptic, or really hard, or really easy!!! I can't figure it out!!! If anyone can guess, do so )

(I know what it is, I'm just saying, I don't know if its stupid or cryptic or hard or easy )

            That's one answer, Tau.

I'll quit posting riddles and let some good ones be posted

A man travelling with a big head of cabbage, a goat and a wolf needs to cross the river. He finds a small boat. The boat is so small that he can transport only one of his three "companions" at once. There is another problem. He can't leave them without supervision: the goat would eat the cabbage, whereas the wolf would eat the goat. What should he do?

Well, I'm guessing he(the man in your question)'s as intelligent as the head of cabbage, so I will assume his head is the head of cabbage. In this case, just take the wolf over and then take the goat over.

Hrm...throw the cabbage accross the river.

No, that's probably not the answer youre looking for. Take the goat, then the wolf, then the cabbage. No...

Just walk to the source of the river and go around it.

Forget it, I can't figure it out.

I mean, I'm not insulting you with the head of cabbage reference, I'm insulting the man in your brain teaser. You, on the other hand, were able to provide an riddle that could stump me.

A nice twist on the problem. I didn't expect that. But no, this is not what is meant in the formulation.

Hrm...throw the cabbage accross the river.
                    This is not allowed.

What, is he crippled or something?

And if he is, what's he doing with a wolf and a goat?

Hrm. Take the goat over, then take the wolf over, take the goat back, take the cabbage over, and then take the goat back over. Is that right? (Over=other side of river, back over=starting location, if that gets confusing)

Okay, I think this is one, already well known, I'm just seeing if 'Poly-ers know it:

When Bob leaves his 15th-floor apartment, he uses the elevator all the way to the 1st floor. However, when Bob goes back up, sometimes he uses the elevator all the way to the 15th floor and sometimes he rides the elevator only up to the 7th floor and walks the stairs the rest of the way up. Why?

There are at least two elevators in the building. One of them serves only the first seven floors.

Then perhaps it's because when he is drunk he confuses the 7th floor with the 7th heaven?
