    you find me a bigot?

I disagree. You do not read my threads clearly. Not all black women are like that. Hell even most aren't like that in the world wide population.

I'm sorry but you are gay and unless you've had a girlfriend you don't know sh!t about it.

OK I've went through my entire life having women treat me like sh!t. My girlfriend dumps me but now she is writing me to get back together after her divorce. I suppose it is OK for women to just trample all over a guy's feelings. What am I supposed to do, let her repeatedly dump me and get back together with me when she feels bad?

And I treat women like they should be treated- with respect. Is it too much to ask for that in return?

No, but you're generalising way too much. Women are human and I'm sure there are just as many men who treat women that way (this certainly doesn't excuse women who act like that though).

      And I have had girlfriends

Given Boddington's location and stated preferences, I suppose it's safe to assume the black-faced sheep are going to be safe. Not so sure about the white faced ones, though....

Honestly, what a crock of skit.

Yeah, all black women sure got some attitude, and that makes them SOOOO unattractive. I mean they're all the same aren't they? Regardless whether they're American, Brazilian, Moroccan, Mauritian, British, Jamaican or Sudanese, they're all BLACK so they're all the SAME with the SAME attitude, irrespective of their differing upbringings, or religions, or politics.

        Pure unadulterated taurine faeces.

As a pale-faced alabaster-skinned honky, I'm very glad to state that opposites attract, and have attracted in the past, and no doubt will continue to attract in the future.

Every culture and society defines its own standards of what is beautiful, from bound feet to crossed eyes, sloping foreheads and scarified skin- but to make judgments about someone's beauty based solely on their skin colour (and how many different varieties of 'black' can we think of anyway?) and that somehow therefore their skin colour or ethnicity predicates a pattern of behaviour, is deeply racist.

well I'm also against men that treat women like dogs too. But usually they are bigger than me- so I can't do much about it. I really would like to kick the asses of men who abuse women.

If I were bigger I think I would be a vigilante. I think that would be cool. Just like Charles Bronson.

Oh I should mention the girl I knew in the navy again. She definately cannot be stereotyped as the typical black woman. She was the sweetest human being I have ever known. She wasn't much of a machinist mate- but she was so nice I couldn't fault her for that. She was good at doing the paperwork and stuff. She was kind of short. Thin. She didn't have a big booty- although it wasn't flat like a white girls. She didn't have an attitude. She was religious, but not the annoying kind of religious. Very high moral values.

Probably the best human being I have ever known.

                I think it's a feedback loop.

People sees what kind of women win in beauty contests -> this sort of women being beautiful gains wider acceptance in society -> more women modeling themselves after this image -> more women of the same image entering beauty contests -> more women with the same image win -> etc.

See... they're you're also treading on dangerous ground when it comes to racial tolerance. What is the stereotypical black girl? That's like saying you liked her because although she was black she had 'proper white values' or something.

The trouble is do we take the view on race that the PC-nazis would have us take which is 'race is purely skin colour and nothing more' or do we take Nimmy's view that there is a psychological element in there as well in terms of attitude.

What Dissident is saying sounds more like an apologist take on it like arguing 'Well yes they are mostly like that - but some are ok'. Which is just as much a bag of snakes as what Nimmy was saying.

The trouble is you have to separate the race from the cultural thing. You can find black girls unattractive because of their skin tone - that's allowed. It's like saying you find fat girls unattractive or really like those girls ( and guys ) who will only date our darker skinned brethren.

Now the cultural thing... you can find that unattractive too but that's nothing to do with race. Personally I hate all those ghetto and would-be-ghetto ****** that you see on TV. I've never been to an inner-city district in the American heartland so I can't comment whether that's the reality but though many black people may act like that it's a question of upbringing rather than race. There are plenty of whites and hispanics that act the exact same way - take Eminem for example. It's nothing to do with race, it's just a lifestyle and you have to learn to separate the two in your head. Not have the attitude that goes; well Eminem is just 'acting black' because there is no such thing.

What a person is like is determined by their upbringing. Perhaps if racial prejudice was involved in that upbringing then their race might factor but people are people wherever their ancestors came from. The fact is a lot of black and hispanic people living in America do so below the poverty line but what Nimmy is referring to as 'the attitude' is a by-product of a lower-class inner-city background. It has nothing to do with the fact that they are black.

The only difference race has in-an-itself is some genetic effects in terms of diseases ( sickle cell anaemia for example ) and the more obvious things such as appearance.

You can't say you don't find black people attractive because of their attitude because their attitude has nothing to do with the fact that they're black. You can say you don't find them attractive because of their skin tone because that's an issue for your libido rather than your conscious mind. But saying there is such a thing as a racial attitude is just one big, stupid bag-of-snakes. It's a stupid generalisation that fails to closely examine the real issues involved.

I liked Molly Bloom's post - it saved me the effort.

Dissident, I think you need to socialise a bit more. Try and understand others and appreciate their finer points. Some of the sh1t you are writing comes across a little scarily.

                      what?

I'm not the one who makes these stereotypes. I was just referencing stereotypes you see on TV. Yeah I know real life isn't TV. But I have never really been around african-americans except at work. So I really don't know. I plead ignorance. If I could be around them more I would. But I just can't make friends.

To tell you the truth I can't say what the stereotypical black girl is like. I've only known 1 of them. I was just trying to guess what you guess thought of them. I'm sorry I can't figure out what you expect.

And I probably do need to socialize more. But I only have 1 friend and 1 ex-girlfriend who treats me like crap but wants to get back together. No one else wants to associate with me . But I like to think that is because I'm a computer nerd who doesn't binge drink or do anything cool.

I'm pissed that you think I'm racist. Perhaps what I wrote was wrong. I'm not the best writer (one of many reasons I never went for a masters degree), and I'm certainly not the best at conveying my thoughts. Hence I'll never be a writer.

I've had sex with black women. I would like to have them as girlfriends. I'd be friends with black men if I could. What is your problem with my attitude? Are you offended I use the term "black". I apologize I grew up in the early 80's.

                        now I'm really pissed.

I'm not the one who used the term white values.

I have no idea what that mean. I have never heard of it.

What makes you think I'm even white?

                          f*ck this thread

I can't even like a black woman without being called a racist.

And it wasn't me who said they didn't like them because of their attitude that was someone else. Read the thread. I said I don't like that attitude no matter what race has it.

And what about my post is scary?

I am at the bottom of the social ladder. So my actions have no effect on others anyways. So even it my attitude was ****ed up, I couldn't hurt anyone with it. I'm like the lowliest person in the U.S. I am scum.

What the f**k is wrong with this post???? Nothing, that's what.
If denying the truth of racial stereotypes based on personal experience gets people flamed here then this forum is even more dumb than I thought.
