Forget the SAS, the SBS (special boat service) make them look like absolute wussies. SAS are probably about the best special forces in the world, probably just behind the SBS

I wouldn't mess with the A-Team.. That would be one helluva mistake.

They didnt have a high kill rate Pekka. How many bad guys did you see the A-Team actually kill? They all crawed out from underneath their car or jumped at the last second.

Just curious, how does one measure the quality of certain special forces when probably most of their actions aren´t known in public?
In the case of the A-Team we grew up watching them once a week on TV

True, we don't know about them too much. And many forces haven't seen action in years, so it's hard to tell.

SD, True . If you are good enough to get into special forces, then you must have a motivation and need for action. What's the point of being elite troops and train and train but never get to put it in use?
And even if they haven't seen action, they do lots of research and simulate action in very real way.. it's not the same but it is the next best thing.
I wonder how they can check if someone is likely to freeze in combat from those who can do their job in such high stressing situation..

I would think teh special forces of any modern army would be tough, tough enough to deal with us anyway
Space is big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind- bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space.
