Dutch people tend to pronounce s as sh. that's extremely annoying in the long run.

however, it gets amusing when they ask "mind if I **** here" or "**** down please".

I've never once heard a Dutch person do that. I'm sure it's just a myth.

Space is big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind- bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space.

In every case except for the football team when it's supposed to be pronounced Seltic.

My friends have been arguing for weeks about just this type of stuff.

One of them is water. Is it wah-ter, or waw-ter, or wor-ter... (nobody seems to argue about the "ter")

And there's drawer... My friend Dana pronounces it like "draw". She from Long Island though.

                  British pronunciation of schedule!

My father's pronunciations are quite amusing. He's Brazilian remember.

                  For example:

                  "When push comes to shovel."
                  "The Cat-ol-ic Church"
                  "MackeeDonals"

Ship and sheep might as well be the same word with him.
Dom Pedro II - 2nd and last Emperor of the Empire of Brazil (1831 - 1889).

Perhaps the worst of all is Bath, when people pronounce it Barth.
