  • orange meets Mr. Green himself, Ralph Nader

Saturday, at a small Unitarian Church at the west end of Newark, 250 Green Party supporters gathered together to support Vivian Houghton in her bid for State Attorney General, one of whom was Green Party Presidential Candidate and champion of anti-corporatism - Ralph Nader

Very good speaker, captivating, gave a great bit on the war in Iraq and the lack of crack down on white collar crime in America.

I got to meet him, shake his hand, and talk politics for a few minutes before he gave his speech. What an amazing night

    Here's the article:

I'd have to thank Rehnquist for that one, not Nader

Or blame Gore for not being able to win his own state. If he'd done that, there would have been no hoopla in Florida.

But it is really necessary to rehash this two year old stuff?

Nader is in the long run good, because the more support the left gets, the less support the right gets. In the long run, I hope.

Nader really needs to buy some new jackets and ties.

Nader has no sight of the future and no idea on how to run an economy. I would take a bullet rather than have him president.

The left support in recent years has been crumbling... it is a cycle... but this time the left has been taking a big hammering. In Europe and the US...

This is the violence of institutions -- indifference, inaction, and decay. I dont understand how Nader can keep on going with ideas so balatantly anti-american... if the Green party ever rose to any prominence, there'd be a civil war... and it wouldnt be much of a war because the entire religious right, all of industry and business, the military, and every american with a gun... would all riot. the left has no power over a right-wing revolution

Who is Houghton and why is Nader trying to scuttle that guy's career?

So I wasn't the only one thinking that.

Hmmmm, the left has been pretty apt in performing violent actions before… French Revolution, Russian Revolution, etc.…

                        "damn leftist Egyptian..."
You guys do not even remotely understand how HARD this set me laughing! My roomates looked at me funny.
Also his parents are Lebanese, I think. If he weren't american he couldn't run for president *duh*.
I also saw Nader speak, and like Orange says, yes he truly has a powerful and captivating message.

nice site, DinoDoc, but playing the stockmarket and hating dogs is nothing compared to what some politicians have. His message is clear, and it's a good one.

And the family name originates from upper (southern) egypt...

in fact, the guy who made that "I Hate Israel" song that was popular in arab countries. He had the same last name as me... we might be distant cousins
