That's why I like it (I'm really tired of looking at tons of icons...)
Try to go to download.com and search for DesktopX, and install the demo, then go to wincustomize.com and search for a good theme (They have tons of nice themes there). The one I'm using, I found there, but changed a lot (so it fits my needs, and it looks better (the original theme was more like an unorganized icon-filled desktop) )
Ehm... remember that my desktop
1) is not Windows-based
2) is not very cluttered with icons

Alright, anyone want to explain to me how I can get altered WinXP SP1 themes without buying something? All I need is the altered uxtheme.dll file. I really, really miss my old themes. =(
Kaak, that's an excellent theme. Where'd you get it?
E: i uninstalled sp1 after it killed my themes btw, i got a slightly different version from themexp.org. I did a little photoshop work to replace a yinyang with my fraternity's crest...

badass man. Still need help with a better alternative for the themes. What if I just install StyleXP, copy the altered uxtheme.dll file, then uninstall StyleXP and put back the old file?
SP1 updates the skinning DLL, so you need to update StyleXP (and thereby re-"crack" the skinning DLL) to use third party skins again.

Why doesn't microsoft just support third party themes???

Tech support issues. Windows supports it, you just need to unlock it. StyleXP unlocks the feature.

I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.
