    I don't like normal desktops, so I changed it a bit, with DesktopX
    This space is empty... or is it?

              What can I say? I really like movie oriented desktops!

              p.s. Asher - I shrinked the icons and showed the dock open in this picture so that you could stop worrying that my computer doesn't do anything useful.

                        RedJohn, don't know if you still follow this thread, but... if people want to see pics on a Geocities site they have to copy the link and paste it in a new browser window.
                        Within weeks they'll be re-opening the shipyards

                          I actually like ADG's desktop. The bars on the top left corner take up nicely little space (unlike the clutter of icons that many people have) and the transparency is cool.

                            That's why I like it (I'm really tired of looking at tons of icons...)

                            Try to go to download.com and search for DesktopX, and install the demo, then go to wincustomize.com and search for a good theme (They have tons of nice themes there). The one I'm using, I found there, but changed a lot (so it fits my needs, and it looks better (the original theme was more like an unorganized icon-filled desktop) )
