Heard that before. Why don't you guys like him?
Because he is f*cken traitor.
What's the bill of particulars?
Former Soviet minister can't be uncle Sam's whore.
We've been through this before. The Georgian economy has been recovering slowly from the early 90s and shows signs of being competently managed in a tough situation.
It's still in deep sh*t. Gorgia is typical banana republic. If we close our market for their fruits and turn off oil and gas pipe (they don't pay for our oil and gas anyway, why the f*ck we should feed country which president don't respect us ) and cut off electicity, they will collapse.

What makes the Russians think they'll do any better in Georgia than in Chechnya?
We don't have to do any better. Chechnya is fully under control now. If you didn't noticed.
I think the Russian Army hit bottom in 1996 when a Russian division and a Russian battalion fought for 6 hours before anyone realized what was going on.
WTF?
Anyhow, you mess two different campaigns. Our campaign of 1996 it's not the same as our campaign of 1999. During first campaign locals were on terrorist side, this campaign last for years and we finaly lost and withdraw all forces from Chechnya in 1996. For 3 years Chechnya was de-facto independant. Those guys installed the same regime as in Afghanistan during Taliban's reign. In 1999 they blow-up several civilian buildings in Moscow and other cities of my country. Several hundreds of peacfully sleeping civilians (including childrens of course) were slain. Does it looks similar with smt? Btw, yesterday was a third anniversary of one of those explosions. Three years ago civilian house in Moscow in Koshirskaya str. was destroyed. It was a large house, it has 9 floors. Hundreds of civilians died. This day for us is the same as sept 11 for you.
And finally in 1999, those guys started expanision- they attacked nearby Dagestan. They failed, this time they wasn't supported by local population. Then we striked back and destroyed those bastards within few months.
So, what the f*ck you was talking about?
Eskimos were there before the Russians, pal. Besides, how can Russia be the rightful owner when they sold Alaska to America? Russia has no right to Alaska.
KH FOR OWNER! ASHER FOR CEO!! GUYNEMER FOR OT MOD!!!

"I thought you must be dead ..." he said simply. "So did I for a while," said Ford, "and then I decided I was a lemon for a couple of weeks. A kept myself amused all that time jumping in and out of a gin and tonic."
Limeys is not considered an insult, at least not by me and FYI scotish people are British too.
Space is big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind- bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space.

The Glorious Incompetance of the Russian Army Through History:
Suvorov: famous 'bullets are fools' doctrine dooms russian army to being in love with bayonet charges for the next 120 years.
1805: Austerlitz. WTF?
1806-7: Russian campaign in Prussia against Napoleon, the Russian Divisions execute many brilliant maneuvers, forced marches, etc...NOT to either engage or avoid the enemy, but in order to avoid the army's commander, who the divisional commanders hated (Buxhowden?). The 'Russian Orthodox Army' loots and burns their Prussian Ally, at one point Army HQ is even looted
Crimean War: Despite having many advantages, Russia is isolated and handily defeated by a relatively small Anglo-French force.
1905: The incredibly stupid blunders of the naval and land operations of this ridiculous war.
1914-17: Despite overwhelming superiority, the Russians are massacred at Tannenburg due to incredible uncoordination and total incompetence (uncoded transmissions etc). The war goes on to become even more of a massacre...
1917-22: Russia succeeds in descending into chaos. During this period, Russian military mobs are easily dispersed by Brits, Germans, Fins, Japanese, Canadians, (in Vladivostock). Even Czech prisoners cannot be stopped from going wherever they want.
1940: The Russians are embarrassed by the massively underwhelming Finns, having to settle for some land.
1941-43: Russian boobery on the eastern front, tank dogs, walking over minefields, lots of wasteful, 'sledgehammer/ caveman' approach tactics.
1956: A few Rebels chase out the Red backed government in Hungary
Cuban Missile Crisis: Stupid Russian diplomacy allows Kennedy to grandstand some Russian missiles in Cuba.
1979-85: The utterly underwhelming Afghans, many armed with blackpowder muskets and stolen RPGs, shoot down so many aircraft and torch so many vehicles that the effort becomes unstainable, again showing the 'big dumb mass of crap' approach to be flawed.
Gulf War: The essentially Russian doctrine Iraqi Army again proves the 'BDMoC' theory wrong.
etc etc etc in all the other countries with awful Warsaw Pact military doctrines (and therefore equipment).
1996: Russia again demonstrates the 'Grog See, Grog Smash' approach to warfare and manages to stick their collective dicks in the grinder.
What does it prove?
Maybe the Russians should adopt the Japanese constitution..? Or contract out?

The scary thing is that before, after, and during communism they have just as bad a track record.
They had some good times:
1500s chasing out the mongols, novgorod
1600s stalemated the poles and CO
1700s messing around with some miscellaneous turks, sweden and poles and friends
1810-12: Probably the most successful period. The Russians march all the way to Paris under Alexander III. One is tempted to say that the weather and brit blockade did half the job...
1945 East Prussia and Manchuria, the Red Army gets its act together (against a demoralized, cut off, unsupplied foe...)
