If they were not freinds I would not have a problem with breaking up a couple (boyfreind/girlfreind, not marriage)

I would not expect the person to keep dating their SO though

even if the SO was not a freind I would not break up a marriage

All I'll say is you young tear aways need to consider that if you cheat with a married woman you threaten a man's home, his family, his financial security, basically all the bedrock of somebody's life.

Now even the most mild mannered of men can react extremely and decisively to such a threat. You could be taking your life in hands. I personally never thought it was worth it given all beautiful unattached women around.

I never found married women attractive either. My reasoning was if they were prepared to stab their husband in the back like that, they'd think nothing of screwing me over too. For example by disclosing the affair to their violent jealous hubby. Or getting pregnant. Or using me as an excuse to break up the marriage.

Unfortunately I know I'm wasting my breath because obviously some of you just think with your d*ck.
Any views I may express here are personal and certainly do not in any way reflect the views of my employer. Tis the rising of the moon..

Look, I just don't anymore, okay?

Wow, a well thoughtout and insightful post from AH!

This is because of that oversight thing, right?

                  wow-- I agree with AH

                  I don't and won't cheat. Its a simple matter really . . . I keep my word and I made Mrs Flubber a promise.

As for "helping" married folks cheat, that to me is almost as bad. First of all, I would not find a person attractive that could either be so deceptive or so cavalier with their commitments. . . . and I don't care how " hot" she was . . .. Second, I have been trying to live by the simple code that you don't fv*k ANYBODY over -- to me that includes fiddling with some guy's wife

It's a very strange day when so many of us agree with Horse. But I do.

I've not cheated.... but I have been cheated on and it's a crappy crappy feeling. You go through so many stages of denial and rage that it just leaves you emotionaly spent and furious at the parties envolved. Cheaters never win, they always get caught somehow.

We all have moments of weakness, but Chegitz, I'm sorry, I think you come off as someone who lives their life according to a pamphlet they read in a bus station. Yeah, get on board! Nothing more ridiculous than a person of weak will who uses an institution such as socialism to hide behind.
You might as well be a Star Trek fanatic and say you screw people's wives because that's the way they do it on Risa, for all the water it holds.

I was still a Republican when I was screwing other people's wives. You know, that's the Republican way, everything for me, f*** y'all. And that's the truth. Last affair I had with a married woman was 1988, which was two years before I became a communist.

So get off your high horse and stop making assumptions.

I'd help out a madame bovary if she reminded me of madame bovary.

I wouldn't cheat though… that of course being purely hypothetical.

It really doesn't matter which you were, as you are now using being a Republican as your excuse, apparently.
Bottom line, you screwed somebody's (plural) wife. That's not too cool.

And furthermore, Sneak, where the hell do you get off acting like you're on some kind of moral highground? What, because you abide by ancient codes of slavery, you think you're somehow better than me? Screw you.

I'm obviously not proud of what I did. Hence the word "rationalization." Was that too big a word for you? Should I have said "lame excuse" to make it clearer for the educationally challenged?

Hey, genius, if you want to talk about education, you should check your dictionary before you spout off. The first definition of rationalize is "to make rational". The second is to do so erroneously. I took what you said at face value, being that it was appropriate because you honestly felt the relationship didn't merit your acknowledgment of a committment or the hurt of a possibly innocent third party.
I'm certainly not on any moral high ground, unless you count the fact that I haven't ****ed somebody else's wife.
Oh, I guess I am after all.
And you can think that marriage is "slavery" if you want. I don't see how that somehow justifies having sex with someone's wife. I could say that an "open relationship" is just two people who can't commit. But I don't, because I actually believe it is a valid lifestyle choice. I didn't know that socialism was a cause that disavowed or disrespected other people's choices. I doubt that it is, in its true forms.
Who's on the moral highground? Most of the people I know entered into marriage mutually and evenly.
I can tell you this much...there is no slavery in my house.
