Well, it's possible. Should we tell him that the Netherlands are secretly ruled from the heart of the Great Satan, Washington, D.C.?

Your lack of understanding political reality is the real sad thing here.
And the massacre of 100s of unarmed men isn't?

Would simply letting the Soviets win Afghanistan have been that bad? However unpleasant Communist Afghanistan was, I can't imagine it was worse than a twenty-some-odd year long civil war.

            Pakistan would have been next.

You don't know much about the history of Afghanistan, do you?

Genocide seems a like a large exageration here. Why don't you look it up in the dictionary, and try again.

No he doesn't understand, he just spurts the same old tired hatred from his dark little hole in the ground. I would love to hear a constructive thought from him once in a while. The hatred is consuming him.

                    you're dodging the question.

                    you both are.

once again: do you think actions like this by the NA are alright?

                      Who said they were?

Now let's get to a better question, "How would you have handled the attack on the Afghanistan?"

No, I don't approve. I don't think anyone here does. (ok maybe one or two of the real extremists) But even in the article you linked to, the second paragraph....

State Department spokesperson Philip Reeker said Monday the United States would look into the "circumstances surrounding the events that are reported," and seek accountability from Afghan authorities.

Seems to prove that the US doesn't support this type of activity either. SO WHAT"S YOU POINT.

We knew they weren't saints, and have made efforts to try to hold them accountable. What would the great Marcus have done differently beside, do nothing in the first place.

according to Newsweek, the US did not only know about the massacre, it also tried to cover it up.

The Taliban were the one genocidal ones purging on ethic (Hazaras {sp?} & Tajicks, and religious lines (detruction of other religions antiquities, marking the Hindus). The NA only was firghting (with some of its elements likely commiting atrocites) enemy armed forces.
