Wow, I'm impressed, even after dalgetti's feeble attempt, someone managed to answer the question and save the thread for a few more minutes.

hmmm, that's not a sanctioned smile.
It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

I don't get it. That means, well at least to me, that discovering the truth is usually pleasant. Or did he have some strange disease in his repro-organs producing agony whenever he touched them?

And was Reich some sort of philosopher to be spewing out such, hmmm, interesting quotes?
Cake and grief counseling will be available at the conclusion of the test. Thank you for helping us help you help us all!

But I didn't save the thread, the educated posters at Apolyton did. Let's keep it that way

Ooh, translated from the "old language" of the DiscWorld, which happens to have the same words, yet subtley different meanings to Latin.

Imran and IW demonstrate their knowledge in good literature

Eh... I wouldn't totally deem it 'good literature'. An amusing yarn, yes, but I've read better .

DiscWorld series and Pretchell... smells AD&D fiction to me

The world spun under Om as the eagle sought for shellcracking height, and his mind was besieged by the tortoise's existential dread of being off the ground. And Brutha's thoughts, bright and clear this close to death . . .
I'm on my back and getting hotter and I'm going to die . . .
Careful, careful. Concentrate, concentrate. It'll let go any second . . .
Om stuck out his long scrawny neck, stared at the body just above him, picked what he hoped was about the right spot, plunged his beak through the brown feathers between the talons, and gripped.
The eagle blinked. No tortoise had ever done that to an eagle, anywhere else in history.
Om's thoughts arrived in the little silvery world of its mind:
"We don't want to hurt one another, now do we?"
                              The eagle blinked again.
Eagles have never evolved much imagination or forethought, beyond that necessary to know that a turtle smashes when you drop it on the rocks. But it was forming a mental picture of what happened when you let go of a heavy tortoise that was still intimately gripping an essential bit of you.
                              Its eyes watered.
this is the incriminated passage. in my opinion, on of the best single moments in world literature

Whut? You're talking about Discworld and Pratchett? Let's see, I've read the Fifth Elephant and Thief of Time. They are, hmmm, absurd and funny.
