Hey Albert you and your friends look really cool. Thanks for posting those. It takes a lot of courage to post pictures of oneself and where one lives.

Well I am more than willing to post pictures of the place I live, as I have done before. When the photos you take are of derelict boarded-up buildings, you get the impression there is nothing nicer to capture...Speaking of Erith:

Actually I think the neighborhood looks ok.
Ok, the buildings look a bit dull and uniform but there's LOTS OF PARKING SPACE! (I already said that, didn't I?)
Actually I wouldn't mind living there. As long as there was absolutely no violence. (but from Albert's descriptions I gather this is not the case?).

My neighbourhood is far from Philly's worse... it's fairly average when it comes to appearance, crime, etc. but provost is kind of right... there really wasnt much better to take pictures of. I just took random photos as I walked down the street. Every block got a couple boarded up houses up here so I mean it's hard to get really nice looking pictures without the boarded up houses...
though to be honest... the one picture with the bball net (a6.jpg) I took only cause it looked ****ty and kind of ****ed up to me cause all the bball courts for like two miles are ****ed up and all people got is **** like that on ****ed up garages.

Paiktis:
It's an alright neighbourhood. Kind of typical for philly. The people is mostly lower middle class and they dont like to cause problems. People still be dealing, smoking up, getting pregnant, and carrying guns, but on the whole it's alright. There was a mass murder in my apt building recently where some nut shot up his mom, his mom's boyfriend, and then commited suicide (or got shot by cops... i'm not sure what happened exactly). But that's typical for any city or even anywhere in America these days.

thanks
People dealing only happens in 2 or 3 neighboorhoods in Athens which are considered the worst in the city and noone carries guns in the country unless he is a wanted criminal or something like that.
And where are these people BTW, Albert?
I see only empty streets.
With lots of parking space
Damn I should propably get some pics scanned to show how crammed my (former) neighborhood was.
It makes your streets look almost like a stadium

(Does anyone else wonder how the people in that neighborhood can afford all those new cars?)

I imagined you looking like Albert Speer.
But then, I have an unhealthy habit of linking people and their avatars...
Be glad I don' have 500 posts yet.
I'll put me pick on thar...

I don't know what Albert Speer looked like.
He looks white in that picture, so I thought, "so that's what he looked like."
Recognize me?

Malcolm X was pretty damn light-skin and his mother was often thought to be white. It caused a lot of self-hate when he was young."Flutie was better than Kelly, Elway, Esiason and Cunningham." - Ben Kenobi
