Sorry, MOBIUS, I wasn't even aware that you were still here! Bummer. I only just noticed that you've attached Sydney to your address. We're pretty farflung as you'd realise - Canberra, Melbourne, etc - so I don't know know when we'll be together again en masse, but I'll organise to get you over for a feed. I'll try PMing you. Fingers crossed it works - it's an incredibly dodgy operation. On my machine, anyway.

You force up our rents, take our jobs, drink our beer, sleep with our young women and you want to be invited to our dinner parties? Damn cheek

                Uneuro naturally...

As for all that hard currency, that all went crossing the US and NZ

No, I'm currently leeching off you Aussies earning (or at least trying to) OZ dollars...
Is it me, or is MOBIUS a horrible person?

I was a waiter over ten years ago - I doubt I could stand the daily commute over to the ACT however, but thanks for the offer...

We know New Zealand's full of beggars. Presumably you were mugged for the stuff in the US.

Just so we can stay vaguely On Topic - do you have a gardening question for Hydey? Are the plastic flowers in your flower box outside the window melting? Anything like that?

I was thinking of the Sydney dinners.

It would be the natural order of things to have an OT regular waiting on some real civvers don't you think?

Actually, I was staggered by the number of homeless in this country! You know the US, they expect a tip just for saying "Have a nice day!"

Hmmm, I have to say that we don't have a single plant in this apartment, but what would do well on a sheltered East facing balcony?

The cheek! Actually I was a pretty hot Civver in my heydey (about seven years ago for Civ II), you guys should try a man's game like CtP...

Including the poor sods who were evicted to make way for you with your muscle-bound currency.

Buggered if I know. Ask Hydey. I just set up this thread and maintain it for him. With absolutely no thanks.

Well, they were in the way you know... Besides, we feed them our scraps when we pass them by on Cathedral St...

Are you saying you don't have shift keys on your keyboard? I knew you Aussies were behind the times still playing Civ II, but really!
