But the ottomans just copied everything from the Byzantines. They were a mogol horde with no real culture of their own.

Says the person from the country who's food is vastly inferior to the Turks.

I do not prefere white paint over them.

I do... Gold mosaics have always been ugly things.

But what would you know... after all the best things of Greek culture have been gold instead of white... oh wait... NO, nevermind .

      Dumb Crusader-beast.

Actually as I said it is copied from the Greek orthodox architecture of Hagia Sophia.

And Greek Orthodox architecture was copied from Roman architecture . The Greeks were not the first to have domes.

Just like white paint is vastly superior to intricate golden works of art huh?

As I said a true heir to the taliban.

True, the Romans were the first to use Domes. Greek orthodox architecture is not "roman" though.

            Yes it is. Very Roman.

And white is much preferable to ugly gold mosaics. Golden works of art?! HA... more like golden crap!

You Crusader beast can't even understand that the Turks have a culture just as good as the Greeks.... and unlike the Greeks have produced worthwile things after the year 1000 .

And it is funny that the only reason Greek culture is even known of today is because of the Muslims .

Logical since we were occupied and they copied yet again Greek culture

Although their most important contribution has to be the armenian genocide.

                Turkish contributions:

                (Food)
                Kebabs
                Pilaf
                Baklava
                Coffee

                (Advancements)
                Insurance
                Tiles
Massive Mosques, the likes which haven't been seen since

                (Military)
                Janissaries
Conquering a massive empire, including Constantinople

                --

Just face it, they did better that you. All you created was a bunch of philosophers. It required a Macedonian to bring you military success.

The Greeks sucked their way throughout world history, that's for sure.

Good to see the city's real name is in the lead.
