I'm gonna have to agree with Wraith's mention of Ilpalazzo, as well as Mojo Jojo from the Powerpuff Girls.

Oh of course, the Vogons. Their combination of twitchingly painful poetry and awesome world-destroying weapons is unmatched.

Though I'd say it's mostly the poetry. I do hope we are thinking of the same thing.

          Serpentor

Emperor of COBRA. Created from the DNA of history's greatest tyrants, he was supposed to be the perfect leader to finally rally COBRA to victory. However, lacking the DNA of Sun Tzu makes him impatient, so he tends not to think things through very carefully. Like the failed Invasion of Washington DC for instance. There was a good plan!

And let's not forget his infamous refrain, "This I command!" Gosh, we're all real impressed down here I can tell ya!

You can't be a Super-Villain without a cape! It would be like trying to drive a car with no tires.

The sheriff of Nottingham is easily the greatest villain of them all. He has no need for money, power, fame or whatever. As long as he can trouble the people he's satisfied

I tend to like any villain.....like 'em more than the 'hero'.

I would say the VERY FIRST villain I liked was in the CARE BEARS: The Movie where the boy was a wizard and had that talking book. I guess he's the guy that turned me 'on' to villainhood....that and he has the same name as me.

But one of my fav. villains Iago from Othello because he warped Othello's thinking into jealousy. After him would probably be Hades from the Disney movie Hercules.

                  J.R. Ewing

Full name: John Ross Ewing, Jr.

Remember this guy? The scheming Texas oil man from the 80s prime time drama Dallas. Television's greatest anti-hero. Need I say more?

                      • He may not match the others in terms of power, but when you consider his pure evil...

                        Nobody beats Mister Bester.

                        • Jonoleth Irenicus of BG2. "You will suffer. You will ALL suffer."
                          Most kickass villian ever!
"You say that it is your custom to burn widows. Very well. We also have a custom: when men burn a woman alive, we tie a rope around their necks and we hang them. Build your funeral pyre; beside it, my carpenters will build a gallows. You may follow your custom. And then we will follow ours."--General Sir Charles James Napier

                          • For me it is a toss up between Frank Booth (Dennis Hopper) in Blue Velvet and Albert Spica (Michael Gambon) in The Cook, the Thief, his Wife and her Lover. These are two of most disturbing and despicable characters I have ever seen in film.
"In Italy for 30 years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed. But they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance. In Switzerland, they had brotherly love. They had 500 years of democracy and peace. And what did that produce? The cuckoo clock."

                            • Was the voice of Irenicus done by David Warner? It certainly sounded like him.
