This is the game that doesn't end
Yes it goes on and on my friend.
Some people started playing it not knowing what it was,
And they'll continue playing it forever just because...

I feel tribute should be paid to the late, great Barry Cryer, a giant of the game. He considered the Willesden gambit the most beautiful of openings, and in that spirit I shall play

Or was it Barry Took? The dead one, anyway, whoever the f*ck it was.

The dead one is Willie Rushton

IW, you can't take MC until all the shilts have been taken, unless crossings are wild, which they are not.

            Shoreditch
"In some of its more lunatic aspects, political correctness is merely ridiculous. But in the thinking behind it, there is something more sinister which is shown by the fact that already there are certain areas and topics where freedom of speech, in the sense of the right to open and frank discussion, is being gradually but significantly eroded." -- Judge Neil Denison

They are wild, because we're playing the Northern Line Variant, two stations had been taken twice, and RJ is Trappist, rendering all his nisbits under duress, which by virtue of your previous move, allows a one-turn wild-round, which of course only somebody in the right place at the right time can capitalise on. I was, I did.

Willie Rushton is quite severely dead, true, but I think one or other of the Barries snuffed it recently.

Any IW's victory is legitimate, and Shoreditch is such a gloriously stupid move to play in the opening that I have to take advantage and play

But, like Ecthelion, you forgot to declare "Storstarvlax" before Mornington Crescent.

Then again, it might not apply in this case.

Anyways, it's the good old Kensall Rise back to play.

                    • You've all spent too long thinking about your moves, and I win by default. Kassiopeia is disqualified through the Harper-Bridgeman rule.

                      Right. New Game.

                        • And once again this thread slowly disappeared over the horizon of the page... Maybe a move to Rayners Lane will bring it back to life...
Within weeks they'll be re-opening the shipyards
And notifying the next of kin
                          Once again...

                              • I don't believe that one slipped away from me...that is what you get for being embroiled in a drawn out northern line fork battle...

Anyway, back to the present, I am concerned that this game could become a little too Segovian with play like that from Imran, so to get things back on the tracks, the solid Surrey Quays in the style of the classic Nubian defence...
