If you think about it the people who should be upset by the picture should be the Palestinians. It rather mocks the seriousness of the bomber's sacrifice by infantilizing it, equating it with child's play. If I were Hamas I would pay that kid's parents a visit.

Depends on whos point of view your looking at. I mean from the Palestine point of view, they're not terrorists. They're liberators, trying to free palestine from the Israeli invaders.

From an Isreali (read, western) point of view, they are terrorists trying to kill innocent people at street corners.

But, to me this picture is sick, but ultimately unimportant. It's not going to kill anyone, it's not going to cause a major shift in Isreali policy, it isn't going to cause anything terrible to happen because frankly, it's not that important.

At the least this is confirmation that the suicide bombings are not just from a few miscreants but are supported by the people.

This isn't quite as black and white as you think it is.

I mean, look at it from their point of view. Israel comes into their cities and destroys them, leaving death and destruction everywhere.....And the US bairly even acknowledges its happening. The only weapno they think they have are suicide bombs.

Admitantly yes, there are some who just want to eliminate Israel, but....You do have to see it from their point of view. There is more to it than us being the good guys and them being the bad guys.

However yes, this is sickening but as I stated before, this picture is (or should be) of very little concern, as it will not affect much.

conclusion: they say israelis easily faked this as part of their propoganda.

again, they didn't actually say it, i think they know it's real, and that's why they're not claiming it as a fake, but they can raise suspicion about it by saying exactly those things. Basically they are saying it could be a fake, that the Isreali's could have faked it easily, but by not actually saying that they did, to me they are admitting the picture is real.

And most importantly - taught from very young age.

The PA is trying to say that the suicide bombing is a result of Israeli opression.

But the truth is, that it is part of their culture. The first ever suiciders, the Hashisheen were created in northern Palestine / Syria in the 11th (?) century.

What is also true but not mentioned enough, is that the PA makes sure to instill it in school and on TV.

Furthermore, it was reported on Israeli media, that Hamas recently made kids plays depicting the mutilation and execution of 2 Israeli soldiers in Ramallah that took place on December 2000.

And I've seen actual evidence (pictures, video) and read non-Israeli sources report about "terrorist summer camps" which were active even before Camp David.


Israel's point is that the peace process can't go anywhere, until the incitement stops, since this is the only guarantee of true peace.

if this picture helps the world understand the drama that israelis are going through qwith suicide bombings then i say it is a good thing.
