        • The wierd thing a bout the spinodal was that I knew the term from it's physical meaning. And than when we started doing the Fortran or Maple solutions we go these wierd spiralling athingies. That's why it's called spinodal.

          Still not explaining right, but you get the idea.

          • What math course teaches you tensors? those have a lot of use in crytalography and solid state materials properties.

                Did tensors in 2 physics classes and 2 math classes:

                GR, Classical Mech. II, Dif. Geometry and Geometry/Topology

                Never really covered them per se as a subject; they were always tangential to main subject. Best basic coverage was in Classical mech. II, follow-up was good in Geo/Top
