-rebels are always heroes, divine beings sent by god and so forth if they win

and to think that there is a satan is plain idiocy! just like believing in gods
oh well, people will stay dumb forever, curse this abstract mind of ours
But there is a difference. Some rebels go about rebelling in the wrong way. And therefore they are wrong. I'll never call them madmen

But the old saying is true. History is written by the victors.

Osama bin Laden is just a guy who believes the US has done him wrong. And it is true that the US has done a lot of bad things. But bin Laden has done wrong by using violence to prove a point. He never tried the peaceful approach.

The Antichrist or Satan will be someone universally liked so that no one ever suspects it. And I'll bet he/she will be a good Christian, too. Just to throw everybody off.

The courage of many people will falter because of the fearful fate they see coming upon the earth, because the stability of the very heavens will be broken up. The original topic is great, you've turned this into some sort of dunno-what .

I read that article. And I laughed. Loudly. It's some of the most utter nonsense I've ever read - now an attack vs. America, and the world is ending. OK, I understand the Americans think they're big, but one attack just doesn't end the world.

The Bible, ahh, whatever it predicts there in the Evangely, you'll not get me to believe this.

May I ask, why has the end came now? Why not the invention of a nuke? Why not the World Wars? And the World Wars were by far grander events than the 11.9. attack. It's a terrible and horrific event, but not any kind of an "omen".

Because us Americans have never had something like this happen to us again. We didn't lose tens of millions in the World Wars. We didn't have a nuclear bomb dropped on us. This was the single worst terrorist attack on any country in the history of terrorism. And the worst attack on the United States.

So it feels more to those that are not conditioned to violence.

But the world is ending for more reasons than Osama bin Laden. He is merely one part of the end of civilization. I don't think he'll stop with the United States if he can.

Especially if he uses a nuclear weapon against the US. Then the rest of the world will hunt down bin Laden. And he and al-Qaeda will attack those countries as well.

But I'm of the opinion that the dude's dead. Doesn't mean his organization is though. Just makes it a little more difficult to acquire his funds.
