right. I´m from germany and one should say meeting korea in the semifinals is the best thing that could have happened to my team. especially since the referee will be a real professional from switzerland (it´s Urs Meyer, I just read it in the news).
      so dress warm korea. :P

on the other hand, call me a sore winner, but I don´t want to win like this. I would have prefered a semifinal between germany and italy or spain, even considering the risk that we could lose this match.

And there will be a picture of you and South Korea under the definition.

            LaRossa

Who was the German (coach?player?) who in the newspaper said he wanted to put the whole German team in a sack and punch it? Any German hit would have deserved it he said.

As for the referees...this from FIFA

            from BBC Sports

"Fifa has admitted that major mistakes have been made by referees at the World Cup.
President Sepp Blatter, who had already publicly criticised the standard of the assistant referees, now wants to review the way all every official is chosen and assessed."

Conspiracy? Or just refs from Trinidad and Ecuador not being up to the job...I go with the later...

I decided not to comment WC any more, but hell I recovered from shock.

And ofourse the judges on this WC are corrupt. that is why croatia went home in the first round - out of priciple we know we would be screwed in the finals so we decided to not give legitimacy to the competition by reaching it

Ragazzi, questo poll è inutile. la verità la vedrebbe anche un cieco, a questo punto.

Coreani, siete solo degli illusi e dei grandissimi bari.

if there wasnt japan and corea to play in when old, most europian stars would die of starvation once they pass their best form

think about it, and be thankful

Well, at least the Germany vs. Korea referee is Swiss (I mean this in a non-racist way, btw), which should please or at least calm some people....

Hopefully the game will be fairer now, unless the refs ARE being bribed after all in Korea's favor, European refs or not...2 days until I am proven wrong or not....

I am sensing that the referees are making a whole lot of money from Korean "donations".

And whose big ****ing idea was it to hire referees from 3rd world nations, most of which don't even have a soccer team that does well, for the quarterfinals? I would like to know that.

I don't understand how a Beninese lineman was sent, when in Benin there is only one habilitated stadium...

                                ROTFLMAO

Low skills... and the urge for a buck... the Beninese lineman was probably paid $300 yearly. Just imagine what the Koreans added to his salary as a bribe... wow... I am furious.... need to punch something...

And strangely enough, even 67% of apolytoners think Korea bought itself into the semifinals.
