yeah I noticed that. That is a mitigating factor. But survey theory still tells you that more people are choosing those ones because of the combination of location and choice overload. (It's a very scientifically proven part of market research. The statistics supporting this effect are very clear.)

Not proven with same cross-section as at Poly.

People here who respond probably care more and know more than average, so effect might be lessened (less choosing for the sake of choosing).

It probably goes in the other way.

People at poly are surrouinded by polls (survey overload...a well known factor.) Also reading habits on the internet tend to be more skimming than in print...and obviously much more than on in-person or telephone surveys.

Yeah, but I think stupidity factor is more important than you're giving credit for. Plus, if I have no strong opinions I tend not to vote in polls hers. I haven't voted in this one, for instance...

Well, I voted for the American's even tho I am one. my bad!

Hmmm, I'd probably go w/the Japanese because of filial piety and the warrior sense of honor they have.....although this sense of honor is deteriorating in their country now. (just a little mind you)

Honor is a BIG factor with me....so Nihongin's all the way!

If I can not vote for my country, Greece would be my choice.

You like that don't you...a little bit of nationalism rising to the front. Go take over Austria, ok? Don't worry, they will surrender like a welcoming woman.

My brother wrote a beat poem called the "song of negative words".

It started out with him whispering: "Anschluss, rape kit, anschluss, rape kit,..." into the mic for 30 seconds or so...
