Yeah, great game. It really came down to who hit their shots into the net when the goalie had no realistic chacne of stopping it- Germany got it in once and thwacked outside or the post about twice, while the US hit the outside or went over about 5 times I'd say. This isn't including the ones Kahn saved, of course, this is strictly "good chance misses." It was especially too bad that header that Sannah had that just missed... Kahn would have had no chance.

I thought it was interesting that Friedel basically had a day off today. There was one really hard shot to block (which he didn't), and then super-easy stuff. I suppose it's good that he didn't have to strut his stuff though, the US was on the attack so much. In fact, it reminded me a bit of the US-Mexico game, except that the US had become Mexico, since it could compotently pass and move the ball up.

Germany did play a very good game though. One thing I have to wonder about, though, is Voller pulling Neumann with 10 minutes left. I mean, Germany was still getting massive counterattacks off everytime the US released the ball on their all out attacks, and he couldn't hurt to help out with those. More importantly, if the US had scored later on, then Germany would have had a much tougher time scoring a golden goal in extra time, and they'd basically be in conservation mode for an extra 30 minutes or whatever to wait for penalty kicks, not a good thing. I think it would have been the mistake of the match, had the US actually scored towards the end.
                All syllogisms have three parts.
Therefore this is not a syllogism.

Boris seems to be a bad loser.

SF, the man's name is Neuville. But anyway, I thought it was a good idea to bring Bode (wasn't it that one) into the game. He's pretty good, I was surprised he didn't play from start.

                      What did I lose?

The only loser I see here is the one wearing the funny jester's hat...

You're a bit mad because your team lost, I can understand it. And you have an inferiority complex because you're not like most others. That's not a problem, although most of your kind are different, but could we stick to the topic of (real) football in this thread? I mean I really respect you, also with your weaknesses, but let's not get diverted too much.

Why would I be mad the USA lost? As I said in my first post, I was originally rooting for Germany. While I would not have minded had the USA had won, I do not mind that Germany won, either. It was a win-win for me.

Your little insults and stuff are amusing, if rather typically bigoted, but why you started with them in the first place, I don't know. I mean, talk about unprovoked attacks!

Thankfully, I know many Germans and they're a lot more mature and, frankly, kinder than you. And since I don't judge people on the bad apples in their bunch, I can safely disregard your ramblings.

Now, if I were like you, I'd post something about your inferiority complex over being whipped two times by the USA in wars, having the legacy for the most infamous hate crime in history and being the USA's bottom b*tch when it comes to military expeditions. But I'm not like you, I'm, as you say, different. So will just whistle non-chalantly...
