If you hadn't kicked Denmark out, THEN YOU WOULDN'T HAVE LOST THIS MATCH .

Oh, I think I just you..........

Own succes is wonderful - but others failure is not to be neglected.

i agree. english are not dirty players, they really are fair.
the only reason i cheer their exit is because their media hyped up their overrated players. christ, even germans make fun of their lads, but in england media and punters get carried away and start worshipping them

i still cannot believe that ericsson really changed them so much that they could not switch to offensive when they were a goal down. irish squad was, IMHO, much much better in this world cup

Gazza broke his arm when he tried to hit it in another players face. It wasn't a national game but that kind of sets a standard.

The dives where as follows: Beckham twice ran into the box and the ball and fell when he couldn't get it. Scholes ran on the left side and dived when he noticed the brazilian was faster.

          edit: Dennis Wise...

edit 2: Scholes two-footet attack on Håkan Mild in the england vs. Sweden qualification game for the euro2000 at Wembley.

We couldn't do that before he took over.

Tony Adams wasn't known to play with silk gloves, was he?

I think England should blame the referee for sending Ronaldinho off. They played worse after that, the referee obviously was pro-Brazilian...

I think England didn't play well on the day, started off well, but just seemed to loose it, especially once the first goal went in.

I don't think the ref was baised, simply hopless would be a better explanation. I think Brazil have every right to be annoyed for the sending off.

Any team that can go 1 man down, and still play like they have more men, deserves applauding .. well done Brazil.

As far as the gloaters here, im suprised there was no more .. maybe they're yet to logon, we don't give 2 hoots about what you think, England did better than most of your own national sides, and no matter what you say, it won't change that fact.

Although, Id love to see an underdog go and win it (USA,S.KOREA,TURKEY,SENEGAL) .. I still think Spain is the team to watch, and out of the favourites (BRAZIL, GERMANY, SPAIN) I hope they go and win it .. they deserve to.. they are a strong footballing nation, who have no world cup to show for it..yet

I think we lost to the only team capable of beating us in the WC.

                      Well done England.

David Seaman is the best keeper I've seen in the tournament after Oliver Kahn.
