How can anyone call those types, music anyway??
Go listen to Flaw. It appears that even you aren't above having stereotypes .
To us, it is the BEAST.

Agreed totally from the word Radiohead onwards.

Anyway, I don't dislike any genre totally. I dislike bad music. The genre with the highest concentration of bad music is probably nu-metal.

MrFun, don't you realise the power of a good scream?

In general, I hate the over-use of "genres" because they can never replace the personal experience of listening to music and determining if it is good or bad (as we know, these two genres are the only "genres" in existence)

However, I have detected during my musical experimentation that the largest percentage of music I have not liked is categorized to these "genres" by other people:

        I. Teenage idol singers carefully crafted by the Huge Evil Music Industry
II. About everything that includes rhytmic poetry (combined with lyrics of the highly idiotical level)
III. Everything the Finnish mainstream radio stations play twelve times an hour. Yes, twelve times.
IV. Most of this so-called dance music that consists of lame effects and bass levels so high that you can destroy cheap computer speakers using it.
        V. The utterly evil phenomena called nu-metal.

And Snapcase, 70's progressive rock (or art rock, symphonic rock, whatever it is called) is not crap (with the exeptions of ELP and Yes, which I have never liked for some reason)! My avatar is watching you!

The worst thing I know is when people say they hate techno and then mention Scooter, Sash! or even Anastasia...

              Rap, R'N'B, and Techno/Dance.

I mostly listen to Country these days (but Classic Rock and Classical I wouldn't mind either ).

Yes, some of it is image conscious and I know you don't like that.

Any music that has synchronized dance moves in the music video. Well of course besides Michael Jackson, that mofo could dance.

Nothing more fruity than a bunch of grown men jumping around in synch with each other like a bunch of ballerina fairies.

Oh, and speaking of dancing, Britney Spears has no dancing talent. She shouldnt even try. She should just push her skirt up a little more. Being slutty looking and pandering to dirty old men in her school girl outfit is all she got going for her.

Drake, every male ballet dancer I know has the agility and reflexes, not to mention physical strength, to take you, me and many others to the mat in 2 seconds flat. I have a lot of respect for those, *ahem,* "fairies."

                                Yes, but he said:

Ballet dancing is a tremendously difficult art, and to have it dismissed as such, or even equated with N'Sync-style dancing, is offensive.

I'm not a big ballet fan, but I respect the skills behind it (and when very well-done, can be breathtaking, like in The Rite of Spring).
