Yeah there where many in the Civ 2 OT but they needed guidance by an elite. That's when we at the CTP OT came into the picture.

“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
    - John 13:34-35 (NRSV)

My first memory was when I made my initial thread called "Do liberals have any common courtesy?" I found out that they didn't... Since then I found out that a lot of conservatives don't have much courtesy either. I thought this forum was infested by liberal atheists but I found out it was actually infested with liberal atheists, so I stuck around to beat my head against a wall.

You're the first OT poster I remember Lincoln (aparet from civvers). I know you debated against him and I joined in on the moderate Christian side.

Michael Jeszenka. Now posts as Magyar Crusader unless I'm mistaken.

Avoids the OT now, which is probably just as well. He used to post some really vile homophobic filth here in the pre-moderation days.

Well it is nice to be remembered. It is interesting how views change over the years. I certainly have become better educated since I came here. I have also seen several people switch sides completely.

Yes, red_jon. We like to think of them as Golden Days or more commonly those years when we had REALLY stupid ****ers such as Mikey J., maestorbator, Joe, KrazyCommie and other peculiar yet charming personalities. Wiggy and Spinko (though he existed back then, too) couldn't hold a candle.

Anyway, I remember a lot. Newsmax invasion, that's my favorite, since I started it. I discovered the forums at newsmax.com, posted a link from there to here, and it led to much unpleasantness and eventually to Lincoln coming here to stay and few Apolytoners going there. And how 'bout Bill3000 and Demesos, not to forget Fascesos? Everybody suu-uuu-ure hated that Demesos.

Well I'm not devoutly religious anymore. I don't go to church, though I pray every day (it's a personal thing).

A couple of people who I thought were my friends didn't like the fact that I was gay when I came out, saying I'm going to hell.

Thankfully I'd made new friends by then.

When I first joined I was rabidly anti-European. Pretty much like Bodders. A pretty radical transformation

connor became an atheist and another popular poster (I can't remember his name) got converted from atheism.
