Let's All Point And Laugh (England 1, Argentina 0)
Now in what concerns pointing and laughing. I went through the predictions on the predictions thread, and it turns out that none of you Brits actually believed in your own team. It's only two Russians (Serb and myself) and two other guys (Mercator and Earwicker) who believed in your victory.
Argentina are probably the best team in the world right now, and had a 2-year unbeaten record. There's no team in the world that faces then with confidence.

I predicted against England as an insurance bet. I always bet against the team I want to win - so I either get cash or the desired victory.

then i'm sure he sees the irony of supporting an 'anglo saxon' team who include Dyer, Campbell, Sinclair, Cole etc (all black)
I know we live in strange times, with the spectre of PC looming over us, but surely no-one is that faint hearted as to take real offense at the latino remark?

Perhaps that is why MikeH, supposedly a faithful subject of Her Majesty the Queen and the current leader of our contest, predicted Argentina-England 3-0. Too much of an insurance.

DISCRIMINATION! Why can't someone who supports some of the BNP's policies have a good-natured sports rivalry? Will they start foaming at the mouth at the thought of all those foreigners getting so close to Our Boys?
