Let's All Point And Laugh (England 1, Argentina 0)
I think we're getting a new one for next season! All will be shown when we start our friendlies, with the first against the massive Shrewsbury Town on 13th July. All are welcome. 2:30 k/o.
Shrewsbury has been doing well since they sold their big star striker Lee Steele.... And I'm starting to wonder why the hell I can keep track of that but can't remember my one phone-number.

What did non-partisans think of the match?
Non-partisans? Good match. Glad I woke up for that one (4:30 am in Los Angeles)
Unlike the boring Sweden game, that looked to be an England side carrying that much talent on its books. And with Owen up for it, the English were able to press forward and get some good looks, shots on goal, in spite of not having the majority of possession. The biggest surprises for me were the sharpness of old man Teddy Sherringham, that Trevor Sinclair looked so useful, and the complete disappearance of JS Veron (perhaps he didn't want to make his United buddies look bad) . As Argentina's strategy is to literally run everything through him, it is almost impossible for him to make no impact - negative or positive, but somehow he managed. Batigol disappointed as well, but he was well marked. Danny Mills, who I wrote off after his dreadful mistake in the Sweden game which lead to the goal, stepped up in the second half, and Paul Scholes impressed. Ashley Cole was solid but not spectacular. Campbell was decent, Butts was decent, Ferdinand played great. Oh, and of course: well struck Mr. Beckham.
What I'm still deciding is was England that good or Argentina that poor?
