So, you except us to know about Britney Spears' songwriter?
"Spirit merges with matter to sanctify the universe. Matter transcends to return to spirit. The interchangeability of matter and spirit means the starlit magic of the outermost life of our universe becomes the soul-light magic of the innermost life of our self." - Dennis Kucinich, candidate for the U. S. presidency

If he was Finnish, he'd probably be worshipped as God in Finland now. Sigh.

I know Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but knowing him doesn't make me feel any better. You can keep him in Sweden!
"I will not give you a cup of water if you were drowning in the desert!"

            Just my favourite CIV-quote. :)

Drat. I voted for Olof Palme thinking of another well-known Palme. Oh well.

And never mind Famous Norwegians, we want Famous Canadians! Another frozen land of the north.
              All syllogisms have three parts.
Therefore this is not a syllogism.

Max Martin, see above, Tomas Brolin, architect behind Sweden's 1994 World Cup bronze, Lennart Johansson, president of UEFA, currently embroiled in the big Blatter-FIFA mess.

Snow: What other famous Palme? I'm related to all of them...

I was thinking of adding some Hockey players (would have put Forsberg, though...) but thought I'd go for a sport more people actually play.

Hey, Snapcase, another of the main reasons Scheele isn;t more famous was that Berzelius, the most influential swedish chemist at the time, was kind of a bastard... e didn't want anyone else to share the spotlight, so when Scheele discovered tungsten and the science academy wanted to name it scheelium, Berzelius stopped it because 'Scheelium is well known as it is, and doesn't need more glory'.

Anders Celsius was another scientist who should be quite well-known for something.

Again, like Nobel, a lot of people know the famous concept but don't connect it to the person.
