BTW, can someone tell me why we allow teams like Saudi Arabia to compete? I know the FIFA gets off watching pathetic little nations play in the world cup alongside the big boys, but it is kinda pointless.

And I know Holland is rather crappy, but we would never have lost 8-0 to Germany!

Like I said before, Saudi Arabia have a bit of history. Remember when they got to the second round, with that Owairan goal against Belgium?

It seems that everybody is questioning their right to be there, just because they had an awful match. If it was a European country no-one would have even thought of reducing the number of European nations because of it.

A thing like this won't happen to a European nation in a world cup, since countries like San Marino and Malta never qualify.

Everyone who thinks it's good to have crappy nations playing the world cup has today seen why it doesn't work. This wasn't a world cup match, it was a training match. A joke, a farce. This is what you get FIFA. :
