Its a well known fact that women get space-sick more easily.

The entirity of Earth is equal as one plant, so WHY are most of the people on ships WHITE AMERICANS? Wouldn't logic state that most are Asian?

Homosexuals appear to have been eradicated.

The Nazi/WASP/KKK got into power on Earth in the 23rd Century and eliminated nearly all the homosexuals, non-WASPs etc. Then they were crushed by the Red Army of the other Federation members. The UFoP doesn't like to talk about it, and so doesn't mention it.

Crushed the Red Army? The Federation is more communist than Karl Marx!
Today, you are the waves of the Pacific, pushing ever eastward. You are the sequoias rising from the Sierra Nevada, defiant and enduring.

The DS9 ep Little Green Men showed that the Universal Translator is also in people's ears (thus it's always present)

Watch the Voyager ep The 37s. ("why is everyone speaking Japanese?"

And it does work both ways.

And no homosexuality? Well, not on earth it seems (no idea why), but in other cultures it certainly exists (one culture seen in TNG was 100% homosexual (there only was one gender), and we all know the number of lesbian kisses seen (especcially with the Trill).

Women? On Enterprise 30% of the crew is female. Don't know about the other series.

Race? No idea, but it's possible there are ships made up of mostly asians, or blacks, or Vulcans (we know at least those exist).

And in the 3rd world war, the chief enemy of the west was some eastern coalition, which would probably be somewhere in asia. I wouldn't be surprised if china is a parking lot in the 24th century.

Well Check this...I think Gene Rodenberry chose specificly the races for the reasons of society at the time.

                Starfleet - U.S.

Federation - Either NATO or U.N....I believe though it is NATO.

Klingons - Russians. Warlike against Humans during the first series (60s), friendly with Humans during TNG (90s)

Vulcans - Japanese. Once warlike people (World War Two) who have taken a calmer path.

Romulans - Chinese. Similar to the Vulcans, at odds with the Federation (and later the Klingons)

Ferengi - Europeans (exactly what I thought BEFORE finding this out. That only furthers my belief.)
"I predict your ignore will rival Ben's" - Ecofarm

"I hope you can see this 'cause I'm [flipping you off] as hard as I can" - Ignignokt the Mooninite

I've heard the Vulcans compared to the English - lacking emotion, bland, but clever. Eventually their technical, industrial and scientific lead was overtaken by that of the US, but together they make an alliance.

Any more? Or can someone refute my accusations?
Damned right I can. The UT doesn't "give" Picard a British accent because he's not speaking French. He's speaking English. Being from a well-to-do French family, he would have been taught to speak English properly, ie with an English accent that he would have acquired either from an English tutor or by going to England. So there we go.

As an interesting aside to this, I once saw a bit of a Trek movie which had been dubbed into French. It was awful. They all had similar accents. You'd have thought that they would have found a Breton to dubb Scotty, a Vietnamese to dubb Sulu, a Gascon or a Quebecker for Bones, an Eastern European for Chekov and a recently arrived African for Uhura, etc to get the accents sort of right. But apparently not.

Of course not. French is pure.

The very idea of regional French accents is heresy, and the Ministry of Culture will be visiting you very, very shortly.
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

I think Ferengi adequately describes many Europeans.

Just because they aren't there doesn't mean they were eradicated. Maybe starfleet revoked its "Don't ask don't tell" policy

Nuther way to look at that - It detected his evil French accent, realized that it makes a bad impression, ergo it becomes English as everybody knows the English are the good guys. Unless you've been watching that patriot movie again

Feringi comes from farangi which I think is at least partly Turkish, which is from Frank, which is what they thought everyone from Europe was...farangi also mutates into the Turkish for syphilis, which is nice...

In fact I think Hungarian also uses something like franc for syphilis...
