      Two general questions:
      - Are North and South America two different continents for this game?
      - Are members of the British Commonwealth all constitutional monarchies (Canada, Australia)?

      So, now a real question:
Does the country have a coast at the atlantic ocean (or one of its side seas, such as Caribbean sea, Baltic Sea, Mediterranean Sea ...)
Why doing it the easy way if it is possible to do it complicated?

          Is it a European country?

Was it on its cultural and economic climax in the time from 1933-1945?

What, I'm talking aboutthe US under Roosevelt

                  Didn't read it's in Europe

Ecthelion, I can reassure you, there was no country in the world which had its cultural and/or economic climax from 1933-1945.

Anyway, now we have a limited number of countries:
Iceland, Ireland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Germany, France, Portugal, Monaco, Italy, Kroatia, Macedonia (if you count it as independent), Albania, Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, Malta, perhaps Cyprus (if you count it as independent).
Those who play (of course not Wernazuma ), please correct if I'm wrong.

Bosnia is IIRC landlocked, Russia and Turkey on more than one continent and the rest are constitutional monarchies (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, England, Netherlands, Belgium, Spain), Finland is already excluded.

I think it's better to wait for the answers for Shadowstrike and IW, cause they'll give a lot of information.

IW or Wernazuma, please specify if you understand Iceland as existing in 1939 (it was clearly Danish, then, but it existed ...)

Macedonia is independent, yes, but it's not on the game, since it's landlocked.

I thought all the coastline from Italy to Albania was Croatian (with you information that Macedonia is landlocked ... Have no interest in learning things that change every other year). Ukraine - as you said it I remember there were discussions between Russia and Ukraine about (Russian access to) the harbour of Odessa.

Sorry, Monaco of course is a constitutional Monarchy ...

Bosnia does indeed have a coastline. A very small one, but it does touch the coast. Montenegro also touches the Adratic.

So, my list is boiled down to Iceland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Albania, Romania, Bulgaria, Malta, (Cyprus).

Is your country in the sphere of influence of the former Sovjet Union? (from my list, it is one of Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, and Bulgaria. AFAIK, Albania was communist but more Maoist.)
