Not my fault Israel covered up evidence - I think that speaks for itself though.

And if Israel felt it could gain by killing every Palestinian firstborn, I would not be surprised if they did so.

        By that token....

I know who I saw dancing in the streets on tv after 9/11.

I know who my Brother saw, cheering, down the street in suburban Virginia.

I know who to like and who to hate.

Perhaps they were cheering because we support the nation that kills and oppresses them

            Very understandable, I think.

Not to mention if we didn't support Israel we probably could have been spared 9/11 - but that's a different argument.

I just chalk that up to being just one more surreal incident in the late 60s early 70s period.

Maybe we should help Israel finish the job and end the suffering of the poor Palestinians.

I suppose that is one way to look at an openly agressive assault on the US.

                        Question

What is the "USS Liberty Incident?" Thanks.

Oh? I think that is what is known as Bullsh*t. For one thing, Osama bin Laden's bug up his ass is american Bases in Saudi Arabia, not US support for Israel.

For another, I'm refering to a Palestinian family that lives down the street from my Family...that my brother saw cheering the death of thousands of Americans. never you mind they live in(1) the wealthiest country in the world, (2) the wealthiest county in the country. They had spent time in America, got to know the people, and decided we were still not worth feeling sympathy for.

And yes, I do trust my brother on this. he has never, ever, lied to me or anyone (excepting for events such as "surprise" B0day parties).

We're talking about a subset of people who, as a whole, have proved themselves to be world class *******s unworthy of any sympathy.

I am not justifying Palestinian terrorist acts with IDF actions, but the Israelis are far from clean.

Don't really know too much about it. From what I have seen, it seems to be blown up into some sort of sensationalist conspiracy theory. If it were as bad as it is made out to be by some, then I see no reason why the U.S. didn't retaliate. Can I chalk it up to being another mishap in the unfortunate presidency of L.B.J.? If someone wants to give me some good info on the subject (neutral books, websites, etc.) it would be appriciated. As of right now I see the incident as taking a back seat to current mid-East problems. (I too remeber the Sept. 11th video. It made me and most people I know want to join the Israeli army. Not good PR for the P.L.O.)
