Take a look at what's different in 200 years. Humans have not advanced that much. We can't even find a way to solve world hunger and religious wars. There isn't a cure for the common cold. Cancer still kills, and greed still drives the system. And how much is society going to change in the next century when all the oil runs out?

To answer your question.... no, I'm not an idiot. I'm a realist. You put too much faith in technology.

That's untrue. While I agree with you that we've made signifigant technological advances, the world's population is far from holding steady. Only in the west does it, for the most part, stay steady, and only in a select few European countries is it decreasing.

Are you sure you're not living in the bizarro world? The population has increased by a billion in the last 10 years. It has doubled in 30. If you call that "holding steady" you need to take a course in statistics.

According to the US Department of Energy, the world's supply of oil is going to be gone in 80 years. Please, do some research before you troll.

Oh, the fascination of parallel timelines. And the fact that Apolyton allows two people from separate ones to post at the simultaniously!
You mean they managed to shake off the Galbadian Schism in your timeline? That's great!

Wait a minute! If your timeline has shaken it off, then you won't know of it, nor remember it...

I see. I'm not an expert, so I prefer layman's terms. Besides, "Timeline" is a good novel.

But - doesn't surfing the "Possibility Volumes" and all the alternate universes mix your head all diddly daddly?
