Big story on Channel 2 news. A reporter cruised the city for several days early this week with a camera, and cruised alone before.
It appears that the local citizens have a different idea about events that the palestinian authority officials.
Interview with old man:
"He's a terrorist, Sharon. Biggest terrorist."
- And Arafat?
"He's a terrorist too"
- He isn't a leader?
"He was a leader. Was. Not anymore.
He came and robbed us. He promised peace. He never brought peace. He has everything. What we have?

Next bit shows Israeli commander talking to personnel responsible for aid, who thank him.
A shot shows people giving food and medicine to the people. Another shot shows Palestinains talking to Israeli soldiers and getting food and medicine.
Next shot: international reporters report "Israelis brought us here to show there is no massacare". They talk about how Israel prevents foreign aid, while in the background the troops are giving out aid.
Several more palestinains tell the Israeli reporter that after all, there will be peace, and people will live together.
Another palestinian woman says that she believes that the martyrs are thinking about peace. "They'll bring peace closer. They'll drive Israelis to make peace".
