Big story on Channel 2 news. A reporter cruised the city for several days early this week with a camera, and cruised alone before.

It appears that the local citizens have a different idea about events that the palestinian authority officials.

    Interview with old man:

"He's a terrorist, Sharon. Biggest terrorist."
    - And Arafat?
    "He's a terrorist too"
    - He isn't a leader?
"He was a leader. Was. Not anymore.
He came and robbed us. He promised peace. He never brought peace. He has everything. What we have?
    We have nothing.
He has rooms, food. We have nothing. Damn him."
    - Don't you fear speaking that way about him?
    "No. Why should I?"
    - Do you fear the Israelis?
"No. I don't. I'm clean. I'm completely clean. Like this kafya (shows his pure white head cover). They know that. They won't hurt me."
    -What do you mean?
"I have no pistol. No submachine gun. I never threw a rock at the Jews. I don't mind.
But a settler... If I see him I'll hit him with this stick (raises stick).

Next bit shows Israeli commander talking to personnel responsible for aid, who thank him.

A shot shows people giving food and medicine to the people. Another shot shows Palestinains talking to Israeli soldiers and getting food and medicine.

Next shot: international reporters report "Israelis brought us here to show there is no massacare". They talk about how Israel prevents foreign aid, while in the background the troops are giving out aid.

Several more palestinains tell the Israeli reporter that after all, there will be peace, and people will live together.

Another palestinian woman says that she believes that the martyrs are thinking about peace. "They'll bring peace closer. They'll drive Israelis to make peace".

Sure the Palestinians are bastards, but let's not start about Israel's Jenin Massacre, shall we. I don't take any party can take the moral highground in this conflict, both are guilty of horrible warcrimes. Arafat and Sharon should both be locked up.

In CNN by the kid itself while being interviewd by that b!tch Amanpour.
I was surprised as well. After all, it is CNN

There are two kids who got away.
One was only question and went free.
One was shot by IDF since he ran at them without stopping. He was interviewed in the hospital.

Bromine isn't that toxic. Now, if they find sarin, that's a whole different story.

Erm, that's not what I read.

In any case, It's nice to know that you don't mind if innocent people will inhale just a not-so-toxic gas.

Plus from what I read it makes a great bomb ingredient.

Ariel Sharon is still standing Dubya up, and Israel flatly rejected the UN request of a multi-national peacekeepers.

Dubya called him a "man of peace".
Ariel Sharon gave an exact schedule to the jordanians americans and brittish, and followed it.

The Palestinains themselves are now refusing international troops.

Don't you care about the war crimes of Israel dinodoc?

        There were none.

It's too bad the eurocoms have already decided.

I bet if abed rabo told them that there is a god, they'd start going to church again.

Another bit of that report showed what IDF did in the last week in Jenin.

Pulling out bodies. Helping the palestinains there.

4 bodies, all in uniforms were discovered. 2 of them boobie trapped.

IDF soldiers remove the bodies for 4 hours.

They were called to the spot by palestinians.

On what basis are people deciding that there are war crimes?

On the basis that hired propogandists tell them so?

Sure, Israel destroyed possibly some 1/4 of the camp. But the rest is standing.

And the only reason that happenned is because every meter was boobie trapped and if it wasn't cleared, one way or another, the palestinian refugees would have stepped on the bombs that thier gunmen set up.

The Insect in the Coffee Cup

If an Insect Falls in Your Cup of Coffee- what
                would you do?
                Here is one analysis:

1.The Englishman: Throws the cup away and walks out
                of the cafe

2.The American: Takes the insect out and drinks the
                coffee

3.The Chinese: Eats the insect and throws the coffee
                away

4.The Besieged Palestinian: Drinks the coffee and the
                insect

                5.The Israeli:
                * Sells the coffee to the American and the insect to
                the Chinese
                * Screams that his security is in peril
                * Accuses the Palestinians of throwing the insect in
                his coffee
                * Alleges that Hizbullah, the Syrians and the Iranians
advocate attacks with weapons of mass
                insects
                * Relates this vicious attack to Palestinian
Terrorism, Attacks on Human Rights, Anti-Semitism,
the Holocaust, the Diaspora, the Exodus,
                Discrimination against Noah's Ark
                * Commands Arafat to immediately stop insects
                from
flying in the air or landing in coffee cups>
                * Re-occupies the West Bank and Gaza, razes
houses, cuts off water and electricity, humiliates
                and
terrorizes civilians, kills or maims anyone in his
                way.
                * Imposes more military aid on the American
                * Demands a 100-year, billion-dollar, loan from
America to buy another cup of coffee.
*Claims life-time free coffee from the cafe as
                compensation

The joke actually goes like this:

The Jordanian takes out the fly and drinks the soup

The Palestinian refuses to drink the soup

The Israeli takes out the fly and drinks the soup, but first forces the fly to spit up all of the soup it has swallowed.

This all seems pretty cut and dry:
                        1) Europeans hate American foreign policy.
                        2) American foreign policy supports Israel.
                        3) Europeans hate Israel.
                        4) Arabs, who oppose Israel, are lauded by Europeans for their suicide bombings.

Look, they kid ran at them and refused to stop when they yelled at him and fired several warning shots.

They have to assume he's dangerous.

They injured him but he's ok from what i understood.

                            Must do better at what?

Should the Israelis act like the Iraqis and use chemical weapons?

Should they be like the Saudis and impose a religious police state that renders women second-class citizens?

Should they be like the Palestinians and bomb supermarkets and cafes?

Everybody criticizes the Israelis for how they act, and expect super-human behavior. I can assure you, if Europeans, Canadians, Americans, or Australians, or New Zealanders, or anybody else had to deal with the sort of crap Israel does they'd leave no stone unturned and hunt down every Palestinian terrorist they could find. Israel has turned the other cheek better than any Christian nation.

Look, if you claim that you're going to try and not kill innocent unarmed Palestinians, and then you kill innocent unarmed Palestinians, "Must do better" applies. Or realise that your troops aren't very good at not shooting unarmed Palestinians and do something about it.

They don't know if the Palestinians are innocent and unarmed. It would be a good deal easier to do so, if the terrorists didn't employ the innocent unarmed Palestinians as suicide bombers.

When the Palestinians abide by the standard rules of war that the civilized nations abide by, such as not using human shields or bombs, and wearing uniforms, then the Israelis will be much more able to distinguish between friend and foe.

There simply is no way for the Israelis to do a better job. People who act in a suspicious way in a war zone should expect to be treated as suspicious people. Frankly if an Israeli soldier told me to stop, you damn well better believe I would.
