Their TV is hilarious... I would have to say yes for insane. When I was visiting the Grand Canyon last year, there were some Japanese girls in a large group. Whatever you do, don't make them laugh. It is a cycle of pain that does not stop.

Japanese aren't insane. Most have sex as 'normal' as western. But there are some pervert who prefere 'extrem' sex and they are less hidden than in western countries. Since all is permited in hentai manga. They think that it ius better for pevert to free there libido on manga rather on real people.

How much anime have you actually watched? I would say that hardly any is as bad as you describe it. Anyways, I actually haven't seen any hentai, but there's plenty of insanity and craziness to go around in some of the stuff I've seen...
