But i do not understand how someone seemingly so far removed can not see some of the real issues in regard to Israels behaviour and actions in the region.
Blackstone, I am not far removed and infact I have been in countries that are plagued with terrorism. I have been to a tri-border crossing where there are hundreds of Hamas and Hezbollah Cells in South America. So don't make assumptions about what I know or not and say I know nothing. I am showing that I disprove of Yasir Arafats network of terrorism.
For there is [another] kind of violence, slower but just as deadly, destructive as the shot or the bomb in the night. This is the violence of institutions -- indifference, inaction, and decay. This is the violence that afflicts the poor, that poisons relations between men because their skin has different colors. - Bobby Kennedy (Mindless Menance of Violence)

Oh my goodness, now that is the most stuck up statement I have ever read here.... it is worse than what Saint Marcus posts.

I never asked for them in the first place.

The Pravda is a Russian Newspaper.

I'm sure it was very dangerous, huh? You big hero you.

The only reason you don't like Arafat, is because the US backs Israel, and you back the US in everything it does (well, at least as long as the republicans are in charge). You don't think, you just repeat Bush/Cheney/etc.

Why should I like Arafat besides the fact he is a terrorist? You don't think either, you just listen to your little socialist sources.

Are you talking about "La triple frontera"?

Propably you were just trying to buy some cheap contraband stuff.

Umm... Ciudad del Este en Paraguay is an off-limits area for US FSOs. I couldn't go there when I was going to the Igazcu waterfalls.

                      My point exactly.

Why should I like Arafat besides the fact he is a terrorist?
Well, do you like Sharon then? And without terrorism, Germany would have had it a lot easier in WW2. Arafat isn't Bin Laden. His country actually is unlawfully aquired by the Israeli, as the UN established.

You don't think either, you just listen to your little socialist sources.

Is it so hard to see that there are two sides in the conflict, who are equally wrong?

BTW. If I really just believe my "little socialist sources" I'd probably say that Sharon is a terrorist, and Arafat isn't. From my statement above you can see that that's not my view.

Arafat had his chance to end this peacefully, with a more than fair offer. But he didn't. That tells you about the man.

                              • Nooo, I pretty much predict we lose this war in the long run.

Unless a miracle happens and the arabs change their behaviour and standards.

Or unless we use extreme force - ethnic cleansing.
