No. Worse. AFAIK, there are really three different ethnic groups (or four?) in Finland, Finns, Swedish, Lapps, and perhaps a sizeable fraction of Russians.

Perhaps with the exception of some Turks and Albanians in the south, the fighting groups in Yugoslavia didn't differ so much in their ethnic origin (no more than Germans do, anyway) than in their religion, or who's been conquered by whom. Conquered by Venice or Austria-> catholic, conquered by Russia (sometimes Serbia) -> orthodox, conquered by Osmans -> muslim.

Ethnic groups -- > Lapps and Russians are hardly a major ethnic group in Finland.
Finns themselves are split up in to very many cultural and ethnic minorities.
