From around the ages of about 8 onwards my mother used to take me down to see my gran in Dorset, an old school friend of hers had a daughter a couple of years older than me and we used to hang out together. Often my mother would leave me to stay with my gran over summer or other holidays and we would play together... Is this a phenomenon of such a site which is, lets be honest, bound to attract more than it's fair share of 'geeks' or does this hint and some strange and unexplained social trend, and an increase in involuntary celibacy. It is nice not to feel quite so isolated, but still, it is a major problem for myself, and is not improving with the situation I am in currently. Sometimes you look deep and wonder 'Is this it?', looking onwards to a life of loneliness and being stuffed in a nursing home at the age of 70 to rot away with no one to visit you.

Well no, there are other problems, including my shyness in approaching women 'like that'. Plus finding someone who is right. They are all either attached or unattractive to me. And then I have a lack of exposure to a decent number of people. It sucks
